Marketplace accounts for Srinagar crafts

Our marketplace account management in Srinagar runs the seller panels for pashmina, carpet, papier-mâché and walnut wood sellers on Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and Ajio. We work remotely from Gandhi Nagar, New Delhi, and plan each account around the selling winter and the valley’s own.

In short

  • Marketplace account management in Srinagar means a craft seller’s panels are run weekly, with every claim on a listing backed by documents.
  • High-value shawls and carpets need tamper-evident tags, packing photographs and opening videos, so a swapped or used return can be claimed.
  • Snow can slow parcels leaving the valley in winter, so handling times, stock positions and listing pauses are planned before December.
  • Kashmir Pashmina, hand-knotted carpets and papier-mâché are registered geographical indications, and marketplaces can ask a seller to prove such claims.
  • We run Srinagar sellers’ accounts remotely from Gandhi Nagar, New Delhi, through user permissions; the owner login stays with the seller.

Our marketplace account management in Srinagar is for pashmina, carpet, papier-mâché and walnut wood sellers whose panels need the same care as their pieces. We run Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and Ajio accounts weekly from Gandhi Nagar, New Delhi; stock and dispatch stay in Srinagar.

We run brands of our own as well. For a Srinagar seller, missing return evidence can put the value of an expensive piece at risk. The crafts themselves are covered on our page about ecommerce services in Srinagar.

Why Srinagar sellers hand over their panels

A Srinagar seller’s busiest months are the months the panels need most: the selling winter, when shawls move across India, and the gifting weeks before Diwali. A showroom owner on the road with stock, or busy with visitors, cannot answer every claim and warning too.

High value makes every lapse expensive. One swapped shawl that is never claimed, or a carpet return accepted without inspection, can cost more than a month of small orders earns, which is why the account work centres on evidence and deadlines.

You keep the pieces, the documents, the stock and the price below which nothing sells; we take the listings, the offers above that price, the claims, the settlements and the account’s health.

Which crafts suit which marketplace?

Start each craft where its buyers search and where its value can be shown. Amazon and Flipkart suit shawls, stoles, papier-mâché and walnut wood at prices buyers compare; Myntra and Ajio suit a shawl label; costly carpets often sell better through a storefront.

We add marketplaces one at a time, once the first runs cleanly, and say so plainly if one is wrong for a craft before you list it there.

Keeping proof behind every listing

Every claim on a Srinagar listing, pashmina, hand-knotted, sozni or walnut, should have a document behind it that can be sent the day a marketplace asks. We file those documents against each listing, so a challenge is answered with evidence rather than argument.

  • Pashmina. GI labels for Kashmir Pashmina where the shawl has been tested and labelled, and yarn documents for blends.
  • Carpets. The maker’s records for material, knot density and size.
  • Embroidery. The maker’s note on whether the work is sozni, aari or machine.
  • Wood. Confirmation that a piece is walnut, not a walnut finish on another wood.

Kashmir Pashmina, Kashmir hand-knotted carpets and Kashmir papier-mâché are registered geographical indications, and a GI’s registered proprietor can complain about misuse. Listings that claim only what the documents show leave nothing to complain about.

Our product listing services write each title and attribute from those documents, so the claim and the proof always match.

Listings built for high-value crafts

A high-value listing has to answer the questions a showroom would: what the piece is made of, how it was made, how big and heavy it is, and how to care for it. Missing attributes also hide a piece from the filters buyers use.

  • Shawls and stoles. Size, weight, fibre or blend as documented, weave or embroidery method, and care.
  • Carpets. Size in feet and centimetres, material, knot density, pile height, and whether hand-knotted or tufted.
  • Papier-mâché and walnut wood. Dimensions, weight, finish, and a plain line on whether the piece is decorative or how it may be used.
  • Images. The reverse of the embroidery, the back of the carpet, the label, and a scale reference in every set.

Titles carry the plain description first and the craft name only where it is proven, so a buyer and a marketplace read the same claim the documents support.

Myntra and Ajio for a shawl label

Myntra and Ajio approve brands before listing and expect a consistent catalogue: style codes, colour names, on-model or styled photographs and complete attributes. A Srinagar shawl label with its own designs fits them well, once the catalogue is ready.

Fashion marketplaces see returns after functions and weddings, so the packing routine with tags and photographs matters most there. We go through the selling models with you before applying, because the model decides who holds the stock and who handles returns.

Approval and catalogue rules are set out on our page about Myntra seller account management.

Protecting high-value orders and returns

High-value orders need evidence at dispatch and at return. A shawl swapped for a cheaper one, a carpet sent back used or a box broken in transit becomes a claim the marketplace can pay only if the evidence exists.

  • At packing. A tamper-evident tag on every piece, its number recorded against the order, and photographs of the piece, its label and the sealed parcel.
  • At return. A video of each return being opened, outer packaging in frame, sent to us the same day.
  • On the panel. The claim filed inside the marketplace’s time limit, followed until it is paid or appealed.
  • In settings. Cash on delivery limited where the marketplace lets you, so a refused carpet does not cost freight both ways.

Your staff do the packing and receiving; we write the routine, check that it is followed, and turn the evidence into claims. Our guide on how to reduce RTO covers the orders that never reach the buyer at all.

Handling times and the valley’s winter

Heavy snow can close roads and slow parcels leaving Srinagar, in the same months that shawls sell hardest elsewhere. The account has to plan for both: stock where buyers are, and promises the valley’s winter can keep.

  • Handling times lengthened from December, so the promised date stays honest.
  • Stock positions reviewed before winter; where stock sits in a marketplace’s fulfilment programme outside the valley, orders keep moving when roads close.
  • Listing pauses used rather than late dispatch, which counts against account health.
  • Photography and uploads finished in autumn, before the season and the snow.

Your team sends any stock into a fulfilment programme and packs every order. If you want help with quantity planning, panel shipment records or claims for units lost or damaged in the programme’s care, agree that account work in the scope first.

The selling year on a Srinagar account

The account follows two calendars: buyers’ festivals across India and the valley’s seasons. Shawls lead from the autumn sale events into winter, papier-mâché ornaments peak before Christmas, and gifting carries through Diwali, the wedding months and Eid.

PeriodOn the panels
AutumnListings refreshed; deals for the festive sale events chosen by margin
DiwaliGift listings live; packing photographed; prepaid offers
December to FebruaryHandling times lengthened; stock positions checked
Before ChristmasPapier-mâché ornaments live by November
Wedding months and EidGift shawls and carpets; delivery dates stated

Sponsored ads follow the same calendar, with bids raised for shawls as the north turns cold and for gifts before Diwali, and paused on any piece whose stock is short.

Sponsored ads inside the marketplaces suit pieces with documents, ratings, stock and a margin that survives the occasional return. On high-value crafts a single wasted click costs little, but a stream of clicks on a piece buyers send back costs a great deal.

  • Keywords from buyers, such as pashmina shawl for women, Kashmiri carpet or papier mache box, matched to pieces in stock.
  • Bids from margin, set after fees, freight and returns rather than from the price.
  • Pauses by rule, on any piece short of stock, missing documents or attracting returns.

Google and Meta campaigns for your store can run alongside through our Google Ads and Meta Ads management, reading the same stock and margin figures.

Settlements and fees on high-value pieces

Every payout is matched to its orders, refunds and fees, and on high-value pieces each line matters: a wrong commission rate or an unrefunded fee on a costly shawl is real money. Short or unexplained lines become tickets, tracked until they close.

Handing over a Srinagar account

The handover starts with reading, not changing. Over the first weeks we go through each panel and agree the rules with you by call, and no one travels in either direction.

  1. Read. Suppressed listings, claims without documents, open returns, unmatched payouts and health warnings, panel by panel.
  2. Agree. Floor prices, who approves deals, the packing and returns routine, and the winter plan.
  3. Clear. Claims still inside their limits first, then listings whose claims need documents, then the rest.
  4. Run. Daily checks, a weekly report and call, and a monthly review against the season ahead.

By the second month the routine runs on its own: claims filed within days, documents on file for each listing, and the plan for the next season agreed before it starts.

From you we need user access, the documents behind each piece, cost sheets and floor prices, tag numbers and packing photographs, and one person who decides prices and offers.

Our fee carries GST at 18% on its own line, and the full scope is on our marketplace account management service page. To start, send us your marketplaces and the crafts you sell.

Questions

Questions Srinagar sellers ask about accounts

How much does marketplace account management cost for a Srinagar seller?
The fee follows the scope: how many marketplaces, how many pieces are listed each season, and whether the work includes claims, reconciliation and sponsored ads. We read your panels before quoting a monthly scope, and GST at 18% sits on its own line. Commissions and ad spend are paid by you to the platforms.
Will Amazon let me list a shawl as pashmina?
A marketplace can ask you to support a material or origin claim, and can remove a title it cannot verify. List pashmina only where you hold the documents, such as a GI label for Kashmir Pashmina, and describe blends as blends. We keep the documents for each listing ready to send.
How do I stop customers returning a cheaper shawl in place of mine?
Fix a tamper-evident tag to every high-value piece and record its number against the order, photograph the shawl and its label at packing, and have whoever receives returns video each one being opened. With that evidence, a swapped return becomes a claim the marketplace can pay. We file it inside the time limit and follow it to a decision.
What happens to my orders when snow closes the roads?
Plan before it happens: lengthen handling times from December, keep the delivery promise honest, and pause listings rather than accept orders you cannot send. Where stock sits in a marketplace’s fulfilment programme outside the valley, orders can keep moving while roads are closed. We set and check these settings with you each winter.
Can I sell Kashmiri carpets on Amazon and Flipkart?
Yes, in common sizes with complete attributes, knot density from the maker’s records, and photographs of the back as well as the face. Freight and return costs are high, so price each size on its own parcel and prefer prepaid orders. One-off and high-value carpets often suit your own storefront better.
Do you list papier-mâché Christmas ornaments?
Yes, as decorative pieces described plainly: hand-painted paper pulp, dimensions, pack count and how each is hung. They need listing and stock in place by November, with packs tested so the paint arrives unchipped. Breakage claims need photographs of the packed parcel.
Can you manage only our Myntra and Ajio accounts?
Yes. You can hand over one marketplace or several, and the scope and fee are set for that part alone. For a shawl label, the fashion marketplaces are often where the account work is heaviest.
Do we need to travel for the handover?
No. The work happens inside the seller panels, with user access you grant and can withdraw, a weekly report and a call. If a piece needs a physical check, ask us whether a sample review is possible before sending anything.
