Marketplace accounts for Mysuru sellers
Our marketplace account management in Mysuru runs the seller panels for businesses selling the city’s silk sarees, agarbatti and sandalwood products, often several lines from one account. We work remotely from Gandhi Nagar, New Delhi; looms, stock and packing stay in Mysuru.

In short
- Marketplace account management for a Mysuru seller runs silk, incense and sandalwood lines weekly, each with its own approvals, papers and returns.
- Silk sarees sell on Myntra and Ajio after brand approval, and their returns need checking for wear before they go back on sale.
- Incense earns on marketplaces in multipacks, because the per-order fee and a rigid pack weigh heavily on a single low-priced box.
- Sandalwood soaps and oils sold as cosmetics need the maker’s licence on file before a marketplace lets them go live.
- We run Mysuru accounts remotely from Gandhi Nagar, New Delhi, through user access, a weekly report and calls.
Our marketplace account management in Mysuru is for businesses selling the city’s silk sarees, agarbatti and sandalwood products on Myntra, Ajio, Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho, often several lines from one office. The accounts are run weekly from Gandhi Nagar, New Delhi.
Because we sell brands of our own online, a claim for a worn saree or a payout that comes up short is something we chase the way a seller would, not something we note and move past.
How do mixed product lines share one account?
Carefully, because each line behaves differently. A Mysuru seller may list silk sarees, incense and sandalwood soap under one seller account, and each line has its own category approval, its own papers, its own return pattern and its own margin.
- Approvals by category. Marketplaces approve sellers category by category, so a soap or a saree may need its own approval before it can list.
- Prices by line. Floor prices are set line by line, since a saree and a box of incense carry different fees and returns.
- Reports by line. Sales, returns, claims and margin are reported separately, so a strong line does not hide a weak one.
- Health for the whole. A policy warning on one line can affect the whole account, so every line is kept to the same standard.
A line sold under a separate brand name needs papers for that brand, and a separate brand registration wherever a marketplace offers one. Our marketplace account management service sets out the weekly routine behind all of this.
How do Myntra and Ajio handle silk sarees?
As a label, not a list of sarees. Myntra and Ajio approve brands before onboarding and hold sellers to their catalogue standards, so the account work starts with the application and continues with templates, colour names and returns.

- Onboarding. Brand papers, photographs to the marketplace’s standard and catalogue templates completed for every saree. Approval is the marketplace’s decision.
- Catalogue. Silk, zari, weave, length, blouse piece and care stated the same way on both marketplaces, with colour names that match the photograph.
- Names. Mysore Silk used only on sarees entitled to the registered name, with the evidence on file; Silk Mark tags shown where your weaver supplies them.
- Returns. Every return checked for wear before it goes back on sale, and claims filed for sarees returned worn or swapped.
Our Myntra seller account management and Ajio account management pages cover each marketplace in depth.
How is incense sold across the marketplaces?
Agarbatti sells mainly on Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho, where buyers search by fragrance and pack and come back when a box runs out.
In packs, with stock deep and claims prompt. A single box of agarbatti is low-priced, so the per-order fee and the rigid pack it needs take a large share of what it earns; multipacks and fragrance assortments carry those costs far better.
- Variations by fragrance and count. One incense with its fragrances and pack counts as children, so reviews collect in one place.
- Net quantity. The stick count or weight as the pack declares it, repeated in the listing and the title.
- Fragrance named as it is. A sandalwood fragrance described as a fragrance, never as sandalwood itself.
- Stock before festivals. Deep through Varamahalakshmi, Dasara and Deepavali, when puja buying peaks.
Broken sticks are the usual damage claim. Your team films each return being opened; we claim inside the marketplace’s limit and send the pattern back to whoever packs, since a pack that lets sticks move will keep producing claims.
Incense buyers come back when a box runs out, so a fragrance that holds its reviews and stays in stock all year earns repeat orders without ads. Keeping the regular fragrances available matters more than adding new ones every month.
How are inlay and carved pieces run?
As heavy, fragile goods first and crafts second. A rosewood inlay panel or a carved sandalwood piece earns well when it arrives whole, and loses everything when it comes back broken, so the account work centres on weights, packing evidence and claims.
- Declared as packed. Each listing carries the weight and size of the boxed piece, which sets the shipping fee the marketplace charges.
- Photographed before handover. Every packed piece photographed, so a damage claim has evidence that it left whole.
- Claimed at once. A piece returned broken is filmed as it is opened and claimed the same week.
- Priced with freight. Margins worked out after shipping both ways, because a large panel sent back can cost as much to move as it earned.
These pieces sell slowly and steadily rather than in festival rushes, so their listings stay complete and their stock counts exact through the quiet months, when a single wrong count can sell a piece you no longer have.
Which papers do Mysuru listings need?
More than most, because Mysuru’s products cross several rule books. We keep every paper in a sheet, one line per listing, and a listing goes live only when its line is complete.

- Cosmetics licence. Soaps, oils and face packs sold as cosmetics need a manufacturing licence held by their maker, which marketplaces can ask for before listing.
- Label photographs. Every pack’s Legal Metrology declarations photographed; the listing repeats them apart from the month and year.
- GI evidence. Papers showing entitlement wherever Mysore Silk or Mysore Agarbathi appears in a title.
- Wood papers. For sandalwood and rosewood pieces, the papers that show where the wood came from, kept as your adviser directs.
- Quality orders. A check, product by product, of whether a BIS quality control order covers it.
Renewal dates for every licence sit in the same sheet, so nothing lapses in the middle of a festival season and takes a listing down with it.
Our page on how to sell personal care products online covers cosmetics licences and claims in more depth.
How are Varamahalakshmi and Dasara run online?
As two waves. Varamahalakshmi in August brings silk saree and puja buying in Karnataka; Dasara and Deepavali follow in the autumn alongside the marketplaces’ festive sale events. Each wave needs its listings, stock and prices settled before it starts.
- July. Varamahalakshmi sarees uploaded early, since fashion marketplaces take time to process new catalogue, with incense stock raised.
- August. Deal prices for the festive sale events worked out from your floor and submitted before each cut-off.
- Dasara and Deepavali. Stock watched daily by line, handling times raised, and listings paused before they oversell.
- After the festivals. Returns checked for wear and breakage, and claims filed inside each marketplace’s limit.
Gowri habba, just before Ganesha Chaturthi, adds a smaller wave between the two, with blouse pieces, sarees and gift sets bought for the bagina given to married women.
Prices below your floor are never entered for you; they come as a recommendation with the numbers attached, and you decide.
How are settlements checked across lines?
Line by line and order by order. A saree, a box of incense and a soap pay different commissions and fees, so each settlement is matched to its orders, refunds and deductions, and every fee checked against the schedule for that category.
- Fashion returns on Myntra and Ajio carry their own deductions, which are matched to the returns that caused them.
- Low-priced incense is where a wrong fee hurts most, so those lines are checked first each month.
- Heavy pieces are checked for shipping charged on more weight than was declared.
- TCS, the tax collected at source under GST, is summarised by marketplace for your accountant.
Anything short, doubled or unexplained goes to the marketplace as a ticket and stays in a shared sheet until it is answered. Left for a festival season, small gaps across five marketplaces add up quickly.
Should Mysuru listings carry sponsored ads?
Where stock, reviews and margin can carry them, and in the weeks buyers are looking. Silk sarees earn ad spend before Varamahalakshmi and the wedding months; incense multipacks earn it before Dasara and Deepavali; single low-priced boxes rarely do.
Bids pause on anything short of stock or papers. At the operations-with-ads level our Google Ads and Meta Ads team runs the campaigns, with stock and margin fed from the account each week.
What do Mysuru sellers see each week?
One report, split by product line, built from the marketplaces’ own downloads. It opens with what was paid against what the orders say should have been paid, then goes line by line.
- Silk: sales and returns by saree, wear claims filed and won, catalogue uploads waiting on photographs.
- Incense: stock by fragrance and pack, broken-stick claims, packs that earn and packs that do not.
- Sandalwood and inlay: papers due for renewal, damage claims, and freight charged against declared weights.
- Decisions: offers below your floor, lines to pause, and stock to raise before the next festival.
Once a month the report adds each line’s margin after fees, freight, returns and ads, and a summary of TCS, the tax collected at source under GST, for your accountant.
How does the handover start?
With reading, not changing. You add us as a user on each marketplace; we go through listings, approvals, papers, open claims and unmatched payouts, and write down what we find. Nothing on the accounts moves until the rules are agreed in writing.
From you we need the access, a product sheet with cost and floor price for every saree, pack and piece, the papers each line requires, a regular stock figure, and opening videos of returns.
A saree or a pack of incense can be sent to us in Gandhi Nagar whenever we need to see it in daylight.
