The terms for using this site. Our services and supplies are governed by each quotation, not by these terms.
These terms apply to your use of kavitabrands.com. By using the site, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Who we are
The site is run by Kavita Enterprises, trading as The Kavita Brands, a sole proprietorship based at X-732-A, Gali No 7 & 8, Raghubarpura No 1, Gandhi Nagar, Chand Mohalla, New Delhi, Delhi 110031 (GSTIN 07CBUPK4786Q1ZD). “We” and “us” in these terms mean Kavita Enterprises.
What the site is for
The site describes our three lines of work:
- ecommerce: running brands of our own, and the same work for client brands;
- digital marketing for clients;
- sourcing and supplying garments at wholesale.
It also publishes guides, a glossary and calculators for people who sell online or buy garments.
Information, not advice
The guides, glossary entries and calculators are general information.
- Accuracy. We write them carefully and check them against their sources. Tax rates, marketplace policies, advertising rules and regulations change often, so we describe them as they stood at the time of writing.
- Not professional advice. They are not tax, legal, accounting or financial advice, and they do not take your business’s circumstances into account.
- Before you decide. Check what you read here against the current rules, and take advice from a qualified professional where the decision matters.
The calculators give estimates from the figures you enter, using the method described on each page.
- Your figures stay with you. The calculators run in your browser; we do not see or keep the figures you enter.
- Estimates only. A result is only as good as the figures entered. It is not a quotation, an assessment of tax or a promise of results.
- Where both GST rates show. For garments, a price including GST above ₹ 2,625 and up to ₹ 2,950 does not settle which GST rate applies, so the calculator shows the result at both rates. The rate that applies is confirmed on our quotation.
Nothing on the site is an offer
Descriptions of our services and supplies are not offers. The price, quantity, specification, timelines, GST and freight for any work or order are set out in our written quotation.
That quotation and its terms govern the work. Sending an enquiry does not create a contract.
Using the site properly
Please do not:
- send an enquiry in someone else’s name, or with details you know to be false;
- try to break, overload or get around the site’s security, including its limits on repeated submissions;
- copy the site in bulk by automated means, except search engines and similar services that respect the site’s robots.txt.
Our content, and others’
Our content. The text, design, logo and calculators on the site belong to Kavita Enterprises. You may quote short passages with a link to the page they come from. Please ask us before reproducing more.
Photographs. The photographs are used under the licences, or the public-domain status, named for each one on our image credits page, linked at the foot of every page, which also credits them. Those terms, not these, govern their reuse.
They illustrate the subject of each page; they are not photographs of our office, team, products or clients.
The typefaces (Nunito, Nunito Sans and IBM Plex Mono) and the icons (Phosphor) are used under their open-source licences.
Other businesses’ names. The names of marketplaces, platforms and tools mentioned on the site belong to their owners. Naming them describes the work we do on them; it does not mean they endorse us or are connected with us.
Links to other websites
Our guides link to the sources they rely on, such as government notifications and platform help pages. We do not control those websites, and we are not responsible for their content or for what they do with your data.
Our responsibility
We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we cannot promise that it will always be available, free of errors or free of harmful code.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that arises from relying on the general information on this site.
Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or our obligations under a quotation we have issued.
Privacy
How we handle the personal data you send through the site is described in our privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms by publishing a new version here with a new date. The version in force when you use the site applies.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction over any dispute about the site.
