Wholesale garments for Jaipur retailers
As a wholesale garments supplier for Jaipur retailers, we source readymade lots in Gandhi Nagar, the garment wholesale market in East Delhi, and hand them to your transporter for Jaipur. Each lot is sampled, quoted by the piece with GST on its own line, and checked against the sample you approved.

In short
- Jaipur retailers can buy readymade garments from Delhi’s Gandhi Nagar market through a supplier, approving a sample before the lot is assembled and sent.
- Jaipur makes its own block-printed and tie-dyed wear, so Delhi lots usually fill other lines: men’s shirts and T-shirts, denim, kidswear and plain basics.
- A Delhi-sourced print must not be sold as Sanganeri or Bagru, because those names are registered geographical indications for Jaipur-area hand block printing.
- Goods sent from Delhi to Rajasthan are an inter-state supply, usually invoiced with IGST, with GST and freight shown on their own lines.
- Plan Delhi lots for Jaipur’s seasons: Gangaur and Teej, Diwali, the wedding months and the winter visitor season, with briefs sent well before each.
As a wholesale garments supplier for Jaipur retailers, we source readymade garments in Gandhi Nagar, East Delhi’s garment wholesale market, and supply them by the lot. You approve a sample, we quote by the piece, and your transporter carries the lot to Jaipur.
We source and supply; we do not own a factory, and private label runs through partner units. Our part is the legwork in the market and the check against your sample, so the lot that reaches Jaipur is the lot you approved.
What Jaipur retailers buy from Delhi
Jaipur has its own garment trade, and a good one. Block-printed kurtis, leheriya and bandhej dupattas, and printed cotton dresses are made in and around the city, so a Jaipur shop rarely needs to buy those from Delhi.

What the city makes less of is everything around those prints. Men’s shirts and T-shirts, jeans and trousers, children’s everyday wear and plain basics fill most of a family clothing shop’s floor, and those are the lines a Delhi lot supplies.
- Men’s shirts and T-shirts. Cotton and blended shirts, polos and T-shirts, for shops whose own racks lean towards prints. See our page on wholesale shirts and T-shirts.
- Denim and bottoms. Jeans, trousers, palazzos and leggings to sit beside printed kurtis and tops, covered on our page about wholesale jeans and bottoms.
- Kidswear. Everyday sets and festive outfits by age band, described on our wholesale kidswear page.
- Women’s basics. Plain and embroidered kurtis, western tops and sets that complement local prints rather than copy them.
Shops in the old city’s bazaars, Bapu Bazaar and Johari Bazaar among them, and shops in the newer colonies buy from Delhi for the same reason: to round out a range their own city does not fully cover.
Keeping Delhi lots apart from Jaipur’s own prints
A Delhi lot and a Jaipur print should never be confused on your shelf or your tags. Sanganeri hand block printing and Bagru hand block printing are registered geographical indications, so those names belong only to goods that meet their definitions.
A screen-printed or digitally printed kurti from Delhi does not qualify, however close its motif. Describe it by its method and its pattern, such as a screen print with a floral buti, and keep the word Jaipuri for pieces actually made in Jaipur.
Visitors to the city buy Jaipur as a place of making, and a shop’s reputation rests on telling them the truth about it. Keeping Delhi lines in their own section, with their own tags, protects both your local suppliers and your customers.
The same thinking applies when you brief us. Lots that imitate local block prints compete with your own Jaipur suppliers and invite exactly that confusion, so we steer briefs towards the lines your city does not make.
Buying trips, or briefs from Jaipur
Many Jaipur retailers have long bought in Delhi’s markets in person, and a visit still has its uses: a season’s range seen in a day, and the people behind it met face to face.
What a visit cannot do is check every piece of a lot after you have gone home. Working through us suits the lots in between: repeats of styles that sold, matched references, and seasonal lines briefed from your shop.
Some buyers do both, visiting for the first look of a season and sending briefs for everything after it. Either way, the quotation reads the same: a rate by the piece for the written specification, GST on its own line, and freight to be confirmed.
Jaipur’s seasons, and when to brief us
Jaipur’s clothing year runs through festivals, a hot summer, the wedding months and a winter visitor season. A Delhi lot has to be sampled, approved, assembled and carried before each, so the brief goes out well ahead of the shelf date.
| Season | What Jaipur shops add from Delhi | When to send the brief |
|---|---|---|
| Holi, February or March | White kurtas and T-shirts | In January |
| Gangaur, March or April | Women’s festive kurtis and sets, kidswear | Before Holi |
| Summer, April to June | Cotton shirts, T-shirts, shorts, light kidswear | In February |
| Teej and Raksha Bandhan, July or August | Festive kurtis, men’s kurta sets, children’s sets | By May |
| Diwali, October or November | Men’s shirts, kurta sets, kidswear | In July |
| Wedding months, winter | Kurta sets, party shirts, children’s outfits | Before Diwali |
| Visitor season and cold nights | Everyday basics, light layers, jeans | By late summer |
Gandhi Nagar gets busier before Diwali and the wedding months, as shops across north India restock at the same time. A brief that arrives early gets sampled early, and its lot leaves Delhi before the queues are longest.
Winter needs a word of its own. Jaipur’s days stay mild, but nights in December and January turn cold, so a shop that sells to visitors and residents alike may want light layers in the same lot as its usual basics.
Briefing a lot from Jaipur
A brief from Jaipur works like any other, with two local questions added: how the lot will sit beside your printed stock, and who buys from you. A shop on a visitor route and one in a residential colony may sell different sizes and colours.

- Colours that sit with your prints. Plain indigo, white, ochre and madder red sit well beside block-printed stock; send a swatch or a piece from your shelf rather than a description.
- A ratio from your own sales. Use last season’s sizes, not habit; a ratio copied from another shop suits that shop’s customers.
- The date the goods must reach Jaipur. Not the date you would like them to leave Delhi, since transit is part of the plan.
- Your transporter. Named in the brief, so packing and marking match their practice from the start.
The sample reaches you in Jaipur with photographs and a measurement sheet, and nothing is bought or assembled until you approve it in writing. Our page on garment sourcing in Delhi explains what each kind of sample proves.
GST, IGST and papers for the Jaipur road
A lot from Delhi to Jaipur crosses a state line, so it is generally an inter-state supply, and the tax invoice usually shows IGST, the integrated tax, rather than CGST and SGST. Your advisor confirms the treatment for your business.
At the time of writing, readymade garments carry GST at 5% where the sale value is up to ₹ 2,500 a piece and 18% above it; the GST Council’s September 2025 rate changes set them, and your quotation confirms the rate for each line.
- Quotation. The specification, the rate by the piece, GST on its own line, and “Freight to be confirmed”.
- Tax invoice. Our GSTIN 07CBUPK4786Q1ZD, yours if you are registered, the HSN code, quantities, rates and IGST.
- Packing list. Every carton or bale with the style, colour, size and count inside.
- E-way bill. With the consignment, where the GST rules require one for goods on the road.
- Lorry receipt. Issued by your transporter when the lot is handed over in Delhi.
A registered Jaipur retailer can claim input tax credit on the invoice; an unregistered one still receives a tax invoice, without the credit. Our note on GST on readymade garments explains how the per-piece threshold is read.
Handover in Delhi, and the check in Jaipur
We pack the lot in Gandhi Nagar to your instructions, mark each carton or bale with your name, Jaipur and its number, and hand it to the transporter you nominate. Transit time and insurance are agreed between you and the transporter before the goods move.
The check at your end matters as much as ours. Before signing the transporter’s delivery receipt in Jaipur, count the cartons or bales against the packing list and note any damage on the receipt itself.
Open and count the lot within the day, by style, colour and size, and send us photographs of anything short or wrong. We answer for what we packed, and the packing list and marked cartons let both sides see where a difference arose.
Resellers who supply shops in other Rajasthan towns can ask for the lot packed in assorted ratio sets, or in bundles by size and colour, with the packing list matching. The lot then splits cleanly for onward delivery without anyone recounting it.
Online sellers and labels in Jaipur
Many Jaipur sellers list printed kurtis online, and Delhi lots can complete what they sell. Plain palazzos, leggings and trousers in matched colours turn a printed kurti into a set, provided the shades are checked against the kurti in daylight before approval.
Online, the size chart should come from the approved sample, not a generic table, and the listing should name each piece’s source honestly. Packaged garments carry Legal Metrology declarations on the pack, and the listing repeats them apart from the month and year.
A Jaipur label that prints its own range locally may want knitwear or denim under its own name too. Those lines can be made through partner units briefed from Delhi; our page on private label clothing covers how that works.
